new year resolution:
to meet up with people who i wish to meet up more often than not be end up meeting less than i wished.

many people with many different commitments. maybe it's inevitable. but if we wished hard enough, if we all really want it badly enough, and not just say many times (not) enough, will we be able to really meet up many times enough?

i guess in the past year, we havent tried, as hard as in the past. too tired, too busy, or just dont feel like. i, for one, am guilty. and would hereby like to resolute (hahaha, is there such a word? or is it resolve) to make more effort.

Hey guys,

How's everyone going? Good I hope. This blog has been neglected for quite a bit ey. Exammies are over and hols in, so what's everyone been up to lately? I'm currently freezing my fingers off in wintry Melbourne (insert 'Come visit me' tag line). I'm bored, that's why I'm here typing some gibberish to entertain myself, and hopefully you! Haha.

Was just talking to my friends about how we've changed over the years. Now looking back, I was quite the terror in cedar. I know xuan so wanted to kill me a gazillion times over. Haa. =) I do miss the good ole days, the morning APTs, the drills, campcraft, camps and fire drills and stuff. Though I so cannot imagine us doing it all over again. Like ATC at ubin in the rain, or waking up at 5am to do 100 pumpings. Haha.

Now I'm rambling..

But I do miss you guys. And I'm really thankful for the kind of friendship and bond we share. =)

Food is semi- potluck style, we are thinking of steamboat due to the cold weather subjected to mayvina's approval of course.
Ellen will be getting some chicken pie from chinatown and maybe i will hop down to see what other goodies we can get. then we go over to AMK NTUC to get some steamboat stuff like egg tofu, wanton etc. *drools*

I've been delegated with the very honourable task of planning our squad's very own christmas party. (Just because some people think I'm very free..bleah) Planning is still in its infancy stage, so anyone with any brillant suggestion please voice out yea? It would be held at our squad's chalet - Mayvina's house (many thanks!). It would be a pot luck kinda thingy. Date's tenative on the 22/dec (fri) or 23/dec (sat). And we were thinking of having a gift exchange/secret santa so everyone MUST rsvp. Please please please make time for us dearest sqdmates ya? Our 'squad' outing (with the very keen 5 members) wasn't exactly squady but still was heaps fun catching up with everyone (and yes, gossiping about our seniors and juniors and what-nots).

I'm bored. So I decided to blog. (Oo, that's rhymes.) Just finished the whole contracts session for biz law. It's boring. Boring boring boring. Heaps of cases to memorise. Heaps of statutes to learn. And I haven't started my crim. =X. But it's all good all good. =)
I'm deprived. You know you can seriously go bonkers if you're deprived of social interaction? There was this case, this poor girl was locked away in the basement of her home and deprived of all human contact for like 13 years I think. And by the time people found her, she was in her teens, but had the cognitive capabilities of a 6 or something. How terrible. Anyhow anyhow, I'm socially deprived too! I haven't spoke to anyone for the past 2 days, save for the lady who served me coffee this morning (ooh, coffee and blueberry muffin, actually, I'm kinda sick of it already, but cafe food's convenient!). Have been stucked in this tweeny hole called apartment for the past 48hrs with minimal human contact. Oh exams.
Actually, it's not half as bad as I made it out to be. =). But still. So everyone, update your blogs more often so I have something to do and pretend I still have a social life (even if it's merely perving someone else's).
And everyone currently stressing over exams, all the best! Totally believing in you people. I'm sure you guys can ace the papers and stuff the results into whoever's faces. Hee. Let's mug together!! hahax. ermx, well.. like gigantic WHOOPSs!! i really din mean to cause this huge controversy and big hoo-haa about the smoking issue.
But u people know wad i am like, i like to try new stuff. So, hence, therefore erm, i really tried one like 3 days ago to see if how the taste is like and does it live up to its name of being a stress reliever. And the brave soul concludes for you that the smoke irritates the throat like mad, causing u to fly into a fit and series of coughs. After that, you will realised that your throat feels rough and scratchy kinda like the symptoms of sore throat. yups.
And although i burn finish a stick, i spend more time blowing the cigarette then inhaling because it is quite fun to see it burn so quickly. -giggles- and i altogether only took 3 puffs which according to my friend, i did not inhale at all. i seem to collect the smoke and blow. And i spent most of the time laughing at myself anyway.
So squadmates dearest, this is merely an experiment. don't worry. So are any of you going to disown me...? (T_T).. sobbies.

this is addressed to Ms Goh Cai Xuan and ALL other squadmates..

As seen in the response, smoking (social or otherwise) is not encouraged. In fact, if you ever dare take even a single puff, I (and I'm sure many others) will DISOWN you. So smoke at your own risk. Drinking is bad enough, smoking is the ultimatum.

And getting a boyfriend who smokes is also highly frown upon. There no way we will stamp approval on that guy and we will nag till you ditch that guy.

hello everyone...mayvina, yanz and ching here!!!!!! we are slacking at taka mac exploring xuan's laptop while she's running an errand for us(buying popcorn chicken frm KFC). we juz finished kboxing. our mini sqd outing with bits and pieces of pple at different places and different times. only ching and me followed throughout the whole outing since morning. maybe on sun nite only got ching and me at the outing so we can have candlelight dinner.

oh i remember during tt time it was england vs argentina and england won if i'm not wrong..den most of us are are acutally looking at the players instead of the ball...anyway i was sharing a room with yanz den lainey and xuan was in the room opposite us...den something spooky happened in their room coz the curtain was like moving even though there's no wind and the window wasn't open(according to them)...den 1 fatal night yy choked up our toilet bowl den we had to call the room service...super funny and embaressing...haiz..all those stupid things tt happened when we are ard each other...but at least we are getting somewhere in life (at least we hope we are) and those stupid things still happen when we meet up...so that's something to rejoice abt...=D

Okay, this is so random. But hey, I just realise that it had been 4 years since the previous World Cup. Duh, but ya, 4 years already. 4 years ago, we were in Changmai, watching and screaming in the bus, in the hotel room, buying England jerseys. 4 years ago, we were still in cedar, still in npcc. Now? Now I'm in melb, not in cedar, not in npcc. But guess what? Despite being 4 years ago, and 4 years after, we're still squadmates! Cheers to that!! =)

u mean the last day of ur jobs ar?...i can't wait to quit full time too...so sick of working already lahz...working is fine for me...but juz having 1 off day per week is not sufficient for me...haiz...anyway when u all plan the outing muz plan on my off day lahz...oh..i think we shd go hang out at the BnJ at the cathay after watching a movie coz it's quite cool there...nice hangout place...and anybody haven't watch X-men yet? coz everyone seems to be watching with someone and all forget abt poor mayvina already...haiz...so sad..and i juz watched davinci code..in the middle i was like falling asleep already...and i'm gonna have my driving test on 13 JUNE!!! oh..i saw gina yesterday..as in our gina..and she's now working at club 21..abt the residential thingy ar..i dun want single room! i dun want to live by myself...IN A ROOM...i'll freak out and die!!!...oh and do u noe we need to go for a medical checkup tt sounds really freaky..got rules on wat to wear tt kind to facilitate the check up u noe...so scary...dunno wat they gonna do to us...i think it's like e guys NS medical check up lehz...OMG!!! wat if they find out i have some kind of terminal illness and i'm gonna DIE?! oh..i think e residential one...prince george one looks e nicest frm the outside..and type B and C like got not much diff lahz..can we go find a room tt can have at least 2 pple? PLEASE? coz i'm quite scared to stay ALONE in a NEW place...

Ok...now abt the HK trip..let me tell u wat i bought...6 pairs of shoes - 2 wedges, 1 puma and 1 converse sneaker, 1 flat shoe, 1 boots..2 bags..3 belts..1 new addidas jacket and long sleeve top..2 shirts..2 nice hair pins/clip (shiny shiny one)..1 pair of nice high class earring for only 2 bucks..and lots of food!!! can't really buy clothes coz all can't try...anyway elaine we need to go get tt nice brown puma bag...so let's go queensway one day and we can go Ikea too...

oh this is like my longest entry...and yea...we muz meet up really soon man!!! we've got lotsa things to discuss abt our life...and my dead future...die lahz...so we want to meet up like at night tt kinda of thing or weekend? the whole day?

oh...and i muz tell u all abt this group of kids who came to bnj and wrote a comment abt me being nice but they spelt my name wrongly...and they were like so cute lahz...they came to ask for my name den i showed them my badge..but they still got it wrong...haiz...
